How to use pathping


Pathping is a useful Windows tool similar to MTR in Linux. It combines the functionality of ping and traceroute together to give you a trace that records ping latency and packetloss along the path.

To perform a pathping, open a command prompt and put in
pathping remote-server

This will give you an output similar to the picture below:
To get a greater sample size, you can add the "-q #" option to query each hop a number of times
