Proxy Access for cPanel, WHM and Webmail - Needed to Bypass Firewalls

Follow

With our cPanel hosting accounts, users have access to a control panel that contains the admin features of their account. Generally, access to cPanel can be gained by using the following method:
http://yourdomain.com.au/cpanel

The above URL would convert to the following URL within the address bar:
http://yourdomain.com.au:2082

Unfortunately, the above URLs may cause issues for some users as it attempts to connect to port 2082; this is a custom port and may be blocked by corporate and office firewalls, therefore preventing access by the user.

Unable to Use the Access URL?

If the URL above does not work, try accessing cPanel using the following method:
http://cpanel.yourdomain.com.au

This syntax connects using a default port and will allow access. The same rules apply for accessing Webmail and WHM.

WHM URL

To access WHM, the URL would be:
http://whm.yourdomain.com.au

Webmail URL

To access webmail, the URL would be:
http://webmail.yourdomain.com.au
