How Do I Edit My Hosts File on MAC OSX

Launch Finder

+ Navigate to ' Applications ' then ' Utilities '

 

Launch Terminal

+ Type the following command;

sudo nano /private/etc/hosts

+ Enter your Administrator / Root Password when prompted

 

Navigate within the Hosts File with the Arrow Keys

+ Enter the IP and Domain you would like to resolve in the following syntax

27.50.65.28 mysau.com.au www.mysau.com.au

 

Save and Exit Nano

+ To Save: ' CTRL + o ' followed by ' Enter ' / ' Return '

+ To Exit: ' CTRL + x ' 

 

Restart your Web Browser and Load your Domain
