PHP Settings that Cannot be Changed

Shared and Reseller hosting servers are shared environments and have certain limits on what can and can't be changed to ensure the security and stability of the server. Dedicated Server and VPS customers may change all the settings in their php.ini file and do not have the same limits as Shared and Reseller hosting.

The following is the standard settings that Servers Australia has set for shared hosting.

max_execution_time = 1800
max_input_time = 180
memory_limit = 256M
post_max_size = 16M
enable_dl = On
upload_max_filesize = 16M
sql.safe_mode = Off

Dedicated Servers and VPS

Dedicated servers and VPS can change and raise these settings to any value desired.

Dedicated Server and VPS customers with WHM access can change the limit by going to WHM > Service Configuration > PHP Configuration Editor.

PLEASE NOTE: If you mak changes to these settings you may crash or break your service, please only make changes in these files if you know what you are doing. If you have a managed Dedicated Server or VPS then please contact our support team and we can make these changes for you.
